  • JIT Supplying Flow & Milkrun

How to optimize the Internal Logistics in a Plant? How to achieve savings in Internal Handling when a PULL material feeding to the Production Lines have been implemented? The key factor is to reduce the amount of incoming materials continuing to guarantee an Efficient Flow to feed the Production. JIT synchronized flow can be created to collect parts from Suppliers (Milkrun) and feed Production in th defined period with the consumed material. The Milkrun is scheduled on the base of the actual materials consumption by the production Lines. The JIT Incoming Flow is targeted to feed the lines not just to replenish the Warehouse. All the major internal Logistics losses (Handling, Inventory, Space, Log Equipments) are strongly reduced.

How Dynamic Performance Control works can best be described in canoeing terms: if you want to turn right when canoeing in the main current, you can brake using the paddle on the right side of the canoe. This is how most common electronic stability programs work. Alternatively, you could use the paddle powerfully on the left side of the canoe in order to have more control in progressing forwards and turning right. This is the principle behind Dynamic Performance Control. It links the standard rear differential with a me...

Hello, thanks for looking in to our channel in which we try to pass on helpful bits of information which I’ve picked up over the years working for BBC Television. Today I’d like to talk about phantom power. Most of us know that you have to switch it on when you are using capacitor or other powered microphones. But what are we doing when we switch it on? Moving coil, or dynamic, microphones don’t need phantom power because they generate the tiny audio current by simple mechanical means – a coil moves in a magnetic field and that generates the audio signal. When we come to the more complicated capacitor, or condenser, mikes, there is a problem. They have an amplifier inside them. This is an Audio Technica capacitor mike and you can see the capacitor assembly here, which picks up the soun...

This Injection exploits a web application's failure to sanitize, validate and escape the user-supplied data before they are inserted into a server-side interpreted HTML file. The SSI directives are injected in input fields and they are sent to the web server. The web server parses and executes the directives before supplying the page. It's said in the video "More output power than input". This is the exact application of mechanical power formulae P = T.Ω However, and as a result for many comments received, we would like to clarify several points: The magnetic monopole provides a permanent static force. This figures a permanent torque but not an usable output power. This force exists as long as the monopole exists and does not vary through the time. It's the action on the modulator (input axis) that allow the stato-dynamic transformation. The power consumed by the modulator is a significant need to provide. Because the output signal has different caracteristics than the input signal, it exclude a loop-back (auto-supplying is impossible). The modulator is a rotary reference, and the torque applied there is not transmitted to the output shaft. It means that if eventually the system input/output are succesfully looped, the generated power remain stable as long the rotation speed is stable. For other news, check : https://twitter.com/exomeca

We develop a framework for the analysis of dynamic games that can be applied to the analysis of firm which compete in a market whose characteristics evolve over time as a probabilistic function of the actions of the firms competing in that market. Firm's chose their actions to maximize their perceptions of the discounted value of the returns that will accrue to them as a result of those actions. These returns depend on both their own states and their competitor's states. The firms know their own states, but only observe imprecise signals on the states of their competitors. Our goal is to provide a framework capable of analyzing the impact of policy or environmental changes in such a setting. Bayesian perfect Nash equilibria for environments that are rich enough to adequately approximate behavior have computational and informational demands that both; (i) make them impossible for applied researchers to use, and (ii) unlikely to be the best approximation to agent's actual behavior. So we introduce an alternative notion of equilibria which is less demanding of both agents and researchers, while still implying agents 'optimize' in a meaningful sense of that word. We show that: (i) there is an artificial intelligence algorithm that makes it relatively easy to compute (at least some of) the resultant equilibria, and (ii) it is relatively easy to use the properties of that equilibria to estimate any unknown parameters of the game. We use the analysis of a de-regulated electric utility market as an example. Two firms each own several generators and bid 'supply functions' into the market in every period (a quantity supplied as an increasing function of price). An independent system operator (an ISO) sums the supply curves horizontally and intersects the result with demand to determine the period's price and the quantities to be produced by each firm. The firm's cost of supplying electricity on each of its generators is increasing in the current quantity produced and stochastically increasing in the quantities produced since the last time the firm did maintenance on that generator. Firms do not know the current cost of their competitor's generators but realize that the returns they will earn from the bid on each of its generator will increase the less the quantity supplied by other generators (their own, as well as those of its competitors). This provides incentives for firms to simply shut down some generators without doing maintenance, and to implicitly co-ordinate shutdowns across firms. Consumers pay the price through the resultant increase in the price of electricity. Joint work with Chaim Fershtman

Warren Farr is CEO of a US company, Refrigeration Sales Corporation, supplying air conditioning equipment. Warren says "Strategy Dynamics added a unique and proven discipline to the strategic work we were doing. Using the proven Strategy Dynamic process focused our limited resources on organizing strategic issues, identifying the critical resources, and developing the insight to more rapidly create intuitive and actionable business strategy. Much of the resulting Strategy Dynamics materials can then be used to effectively communicate new strategies to other members of the team." This is a presentation Warren made of his experience. This was recorded some time ago and has been moved to YouTube. More information on Strategy Dynamics and the course that Warren took is available on http://strategydynamics.com

Dynamic Performance Control switches power between the left and right rear wheels to stabilise the vehicle within milliseconds and help increase traction and lateral acceleration. Handling is lighter and more precise during normal as well as difficult driving conditions. It links the standard rear differential with a mechanical planetary gear set and an electronically controlled multi-plate clutch for each rear wheel. Its mechatronical system combines informatics, electronics and mechanics to process complex data such as the yaw rate, wheel speeds, steering angle and engine torque so that it can react immediately: when required, the system ensures that drive power distribution to the rear wheels can be freely varied and increased on either side as needed. The power distribution can also be displayed on the onboard computer. Dynamic Performance Control increases directional stability when accelerating out of bends and provides the driver with extra support when dealing with difficult driving conditions. Before under- or oversteer can take place, lateral guided force is used to keep the vehicle on track. Precise steering significantly increases driving comfort and safety. Dynamic Performance Control is also effective when the vehicle is coasting - when the driver removes their foot from the accelerator - or when they have pressed the clutch pedal. If the rear wheels are on different types of surfaces, Dynamic Performance Control improves traction by supplying more drive power to the wheel with more grip. A wheel torque difference of up to 1,800 Nm can be actively created between the left and right rear wheels. This increases driving stability and allows for much faster acceleration. As a logical progression to the xDrive all-wheel drive system, Dynamic Performance Control can be matched to all drive concepts and engines. Whereas xDrive variably controls the power distribution between the front and rear axles, Dynamic Performance Control intelligently distributes power between the two rear wheels. This results in precise handling whatever the driving conditions.

This is an Audio Technica capacitor mike and you can see the capacitor assembly here, which picks up the sound, and it’s connected with very short wires – these – to the amplifier. The wires have to be very short with a capacitor mike because the impedance of the capacitor is very high indeed and any wires longer than a few inches would totally degrade the audio signal. That’s why we can’t just put longer wires on to the capacitor pickup device. So, the amplifier has to be supplied with some sort of power to make it work. Some microphones have batteries inside them to supply this power.. Batteries go flat; they leak and wreck your mike; they go down in the middle of a recording; and they cost money to replace. Hence phantom power. Let’s have a close look at the XLR connector on the back of this mixer. I’ve got my voltmeter here to check the pins out. Pin one of this connector is the ground, or earth connection. So I’ll connect the negative meter lead to pin one. The phantom power switch is off at the moment. Let’s see what appears on pin two: no volts. And pin three: no volts. No lets switch the phantom power on for this channel: Back to pin two: ah, forty-eight volts! And pin three: the same, forty-eight volts. Now you might think that this voltage will harm, say, a moving coil microphone connected to pins two and three. But let’s check the voltage actually ACROSS pins two and three: no volts! The voltage is only between pins two and three and the GROUND. No voltage exists across the signal pair. That’s why it’s called Phantom power. So, if there is no direct connection between the signal pair and ground, then the phantom power will only go where it’s supposed to go – to power the amplifier. It has to be sort of siphoned off to power the amplifier, and that’s done by means of either an isolating transformer, on older designs of microphone, or by using capacitors which block the direct current, the DC, from getting to the wrong bit of the microphone. This is getting a bit technical, but if you need to find out more, there’s an excellent tutorial on You Tube at EEVblog #616 – “How Microphone Phantom Powering Works” where Doug Ford of Rode Microphones explains the technical side extremely clearly. To recap: The 48 volts is available between pin 1, ground, (negative) and pins two and three (positive) of the XLR connector. Pins two ands three of course carry the audio signal. When you are using mikes with phantom power, do make sure that the cable you are using are proper balanced ones, with the standard two inner conductors and the outer screen. If you accidentally use an unbalanced cable, with only one inner conductor, your microphone won’t work and you risk damaging both the microphone and the mixer. And check that your cables are in good condition – faulty cables can cause havoc when you’re using phantom power. Just before I go, I’d like to show you a handy gadget I’ve used for years. It’s just a slightly modified male XLR connector containing a couple of LEDs and a couple of resistors. It’s called a “bright eyes” and with this simple gizmo you can instantly check your cables and whether phantom power is present. When I switch the phantom on, both LEDs light. If only one lights, one of the signal wires in the cable is open circuit. If neither lights, either the ground wire is disconnected or the phantom isn’t switched on at the mixer. Brilliant! I’ll be showing you how to make one of these bright eyes gadgets in the next video. I do hope this has helped clear up a few of the mysteries of phantom Power. See you next time. Thanks for watching!

This walkthrough contains 1080p HD PC gameplay footage. Leave a LIKE if you enjoyed the video, and SUBSCRIBE if you loved it! :D About Fallout 4 Sim Settlements Mod: This mod aims to completely change the way you think about settlements. You'll now be able to create detailed, living places with minimal effort. The ultimate goal: making every settlement a unique and awesome looking Fallout city, with perks and rewards that help you at every stage of the game. One of the biggest problems with Fallout 4, is just how disconnected the Settlement system feels from the rest of the game. Settlements lack that Bethesda game feel of exploration and progression, and so there's not much incentive to actually use the system. It also feels bizarre that you have to micromanage all these people, and personally plant seeds and decide where people sleep - you're their leader, not their mother! You're supplying these people with security and tons of resources, why can't they kick in and help out with building up the city? Randomization: Buildings are chosen at random and filled with random things depending on how you zoned an area. Using the basic types of Agricultural (farms), Commercial (stores), Industrial (factories), and Residential (homes) - you create a basic outline for your settlement using the workshop system and the settlers will handle the rest. Version 1.0 includes a large selection of buildings with even more on the way! Upgrades: Every building has multiple levels of upgrades that can be unlocked over time to keep you coming back to re-explore your own settlements and find out what's changed. Dynamic Needs [Optional]: To help make settlements more interesting, the basic needs of your settlers change over time, making keeping them happy more of a challenge, raids less predictable, and the upgrade unlocks feel like they were earned. Living Cities: No longer will all of your settlers share the same boring life story, some of them will be flagged with interesting backgrounds, likes, hobbies, and quirks that play out in a visual story in their homes to make them stand out and feel like a unique and important person. Clutter throughout homes and some shops is chosen randomly both at creation and periodically when you visit them to really make them feel lived in. Furniture markers are placed throughout the homes and buildings so your settlers spend less time clumped up waiting for something to do and instead engage with your settlement. Rewards: To make the system even more worth it beyond the visual reward of the above systems, a tax system is in place to ensure the settlements can have a huge impact on your gameplay. In a future patch, tons of unlocks will be added in the form of special buildings and settler inventions that you can use while you're out conquering the wasteland! The Server-Side Includes Injection allows the exploitation of a web application by injecting scripts or SSI directives in HTML pages or executing arbitrary codes remotely. It can be exploited by injecting malicious SSI directives into user input fields of the web application and these will be executed locally by the web server and the result is presented back to the web browser. This Injection exploits a web application's failure to sanitize, validate and escape the user-supplied data before they are inserted into a server-side interpreted HTML file. The SSI directives are injected in input fields and they are sent to the web server. The web server parses and executes the directives before supplying the page. So an attacker can execute arbitrary operating system commands, or include a foreign file in the HTML page, view the contents of the files in the server etc. through the injected HTML Page. SSI-enabled HTML files ends with the extension ".shtml", ".stm", ".shtm", or even ".html". MORE:http://keralacyberforce.in/server-side-includes-injection/
